Resolutions are the essential mechanism by which First Nations provide specific mandates and direction to the Chiefs of Ontario. The deadline for Resolutions is Tuesday, October 26, 2021.

Proxy Letter Template

In the event that your community sends a proxy (from the First Nation Governance), please provide the secretariat with your ‘Letter of Proxy’ (template below) in advance. This must be received prior to registering for the Special Chiefs Assembly. Please send your proxy letter to the attention of Dianne Simon at dianne@coo.org
