Species at Risk: Conservation Conference
The Chiefs of Ontario Environment Sector & OFNYPC will host the Species at Risk (SAR) Conservation Conference from March 19-21, 2025, in Sault Ste. Marie, ON.
This event will provide an opportunity for First Nation Youth in Ontario for hands-on training regarding the identification and assessment/monitoring of Species at Risk that incorporates Indigenous Knowledge and languages. Participants will also explore the importance of developing a network of First Nations and external agencies working in the environmental/conservation field and educational opportunities in the sciences for college or university.
