Registration is now open for the online Chiefs-in-Assembly meeting scheduled for August 19 & 20, 2020. Please use the following link to register: Chiefs of Ontario Meeting Registration
If your internet connection does not support zoom meetings, we are asking that you register for the phone only option and ensure you provide your email and telephone number that you will be calling into the meeting from. Relevant documents, including a Zoom reference guide, will be circulated in advance of the meeting. Day 2 Agenda
The Chiefs of Ontario Online Chiefs Meeting is in accordance with COO by-laws and will be hosted on the Zoom platform. Each day will consist of 3-4 hrs of meeting on urgent business of the Chiefs-in-Assembly.
Resolution Template
Resolutions are the essential mechanism by which First Nations provide specific mandates and direction to the Chiefs of Ontario. Please note, resolutions are due by Wednesday, August 5, 2020.
Proxy Letter Template
In the event that your community sends a proxy, please provide the secretariat with your ‘Letter of Proxy’ in advance. Please send your proxy letter to the attention of Dianne Simon at dianne@coo.org.
