The Chiefs of Ontario will be hosting a Special Chiefs Assembly on Child Welfare in Ottawa, Ontario, on December 5, 2022.

In-Camera Notice: The majority of this Special Chiefs Assembly will be in-camera, and invitations have only been extended to Ontario First Nations Leadership. PTO and First Nation Employees and Councillors may be admitted by motion by the Chiefs-in-Assembly. COVID-19: The Chiefs of Ontario’s mandatory vaccination policy remains in effect until December 31, 2022. To this end, all attendees, guests, and Chiefs of Ontario employees will need to be fully vaccinated (two doses) and provide their proof of vaccination (paper or electronic copy) to attend the Special Chiefs Assembly.
