The Chiefs of Ontario First Nations Leadership Political Strategy Session has been postponed until further notice.

The purpose of this session is to discuss the issue of Métis rights assertions in First Nations ancestral and Treaty territories. Feedback and recommendations gained during the Political Strategy Session will inform key messaging within the Advocacy Strategy, and the upcoming meeting with Minister Marc Miller, Crown-Indigenous Relations, in late January. An update on Bill 23, More Homes Built Faster Act, 2022, will also be provided.
